Ragnarok Origin TW Server Class update 08/10

Knight/Knight Lord

• Berserk: HP and mana cannot be recovered naturally after the effect is removed, and the duration in the PVE environment is shortened from 2 minutes to 30 seconds.
When equipped with a sword weapon, gain an additional 30% attack speed and 20% crit damage for 10 seconds, adjusted to an additional 30% attack speed and 25% crit damage for 15 seconds. When equipped with a gun weapon, it will additionally get a fixed casting time -100% and common cooling time -50%, and the duration is adjusted from 5 seconds to 8 seconds.

This formula mistakenly multiplies two special damage increases and decreases, resulting in abnormally high damage in some cases. We will fix this abnormality after this week's update.


Corrected to the following correct formula:
(Normal attack + Marty'r Reckoning) * special increase or decrease damage.


On the other hand, we have also strengthened the performance of the Marty'r Reckoning in PVE, hoping to improve the grinding efficiency of the Crusaders and better performance in the dungeon.



Trap Hunters
The output of the trapper Hunter build is too strong in the late stage, which makes the trapper easily suppress most classes, which deviates from the original design positioning of the trap build. We deeply understand the impact this has on game balance and understand players' expectations for fairness.


We expect the trap build to be more treacherous on the battlefield, affecting the battle situation through unexpected ways, rather than relying on excessive output to suppress everything. To that end, we're tweaking the trap's damage calculation formula to achieve this balance.

In addition, we also realize that the damage calculation of the trap booster gear has some irrationality. The damage multiplier it provides belongs to the final damage multiplication area, and the increase in skill damage is too large and will not be diluted, which is unreasonable compared with the gear design of other classes. Therefore, in this adjustment, we will revise the damage calculation method of the trap booster gear to make it more in line with the overall balance requirements.

➤Many adventurers think that turrets and traps can be targeted, but they cannot use skills to cause damage to them, which is poor in PVP experience. And if the Turrets and traps can be destroyed, the two classes will also lose their main output means. Therefore, we adjusted the Turrets and Traps. You can no longer target them in battle. While improving the PVP experience of other classes, it also ensures the gameplay of the Turrets and traps.


In addition to the correction of strong classes, there are also major adjustments for relatively weak classes.

➤For Alchemists, we have reduced the cooldown time and common cooldown time of Acid Flask Throwing skills; adjusted the physical gain in the damage formula; and increased the chance of destroying equipment, hoping to allow alchemists to perform better.

➤For Rogues, we have strengthened the crit damage and Backstab damage of the Divine Armament (Elven Crossbow) effect, and with the launch of the new class imprint, the expected damage will be significantly improved. Also, adjust the trick attack so that the skill can get copper coins with a 100% chance.

Ragnarok Origin KR Server Upcoming new 3rd Job Classes

This time, one of the contents to be updated to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Ragnarok Origin

I would like to inform you about the new 4th job that many adventurers are looking forward to!



The 4th job to be released after the ranger, are: A merchant-type mechanic who fights with a vehicle with a unique mechanical structure. and a mage-type warlock that is as versatile as it is complex and capable of powerful magic attacks.


So, what are the new 4th jobs, Mechanic and Warlock



3rd Job Class: Mechanic


The Mechanic is good at manufacturing and repairing machines and is the only one with 3 combat mounts to help you experience various play with different mounts for each series.

The Mechanic also has a special spectral mechanism: Heat Energy which can be consumed to acquire powerful attack abilities.


◈ Armored series


After learning the Magic Machine-delta boarding skill, you can board the Madogear and proceed with the battle.

Punch fire and Vulcan Cannon skills inflict area damage while gaining heat energy to strengthen yourself.

Note that the armor self-destructs due to excessive heat energy 3 seconds after the heat energy reaches the maximum value.

When the heat energy is almost maxed out, use the flamethrower skill to release the stored heat energy that deals massive damage to enemies in the front range.

If it seems difficult to hit your target, use the Magnetic Field skill to limit your opponent's ability to move before attacking.

Once you get used to the skill effect, you can unleash very powerful combat abilities in multiplayer battles.



◈ Turret series


If you learn the magic machine-FAW device turret skill, you can attack and strengthen yourself at the same time to improve your fighting ability.

You can use the level-up skill of the FAW device to accelerate the level-up speed of nearby turrets.
When the turret reaches its maximum level, you can summon the Silver Sniper.

When riding the Silver Sniper, it moves freely and automatically attacks nearby targets.

The turret series can simplify controls, so don't worry and leave everything to the turrets!



◈ Cart series


For adventurers who are accustomed to the pleasure of hitting enemies with a cart, the cart series has been maintained and the cart has been upgraded!

You can use the thermal energy shock skill to get on the cart and approach and collide with enemies,
Afterward, swing the cart with the Thermal Energy Blast skill to seriously injure the enemy.

If the heat energy is high, it enters an overheating state, and the heat energy injection skill leaves magma at the attack point to inflict damage.

When using Thermal Energy Shock, ride the cart and crash into enemies as it travels across the battlefield like the wind!



3rd Job Class: Warlock



The High Wizard, who has steadily understood the elements and magic through the Master's guide and adventures realizing the powerful power of the rune magic circle, I changed my job again and became a warlock!

Warlocks have awakened powerful elemental powers and flexible telekinesis energy with more complex and sophisticated magic circles.

No matter how many enemies they face, and no matter how powerful they encounter, a Warlock can display extraordinary offensive abilities!

In addition, Warlock has formed two classes of links and telekinesis through powerful magic circles and runic energy.



◈ Link series


Warlocks acquire elemental orbs of the respective element after casting the preceding skill of each element.

If you possess 2 or more elemental marbles, you can cast the Termination skill of that attribute.

You can apply a link effect between each property's Termination Skill and generate explosive damage!

Most of the Link-type skills inflict wide-area damage and are more suitable for situations where you are facing many enemies.



◈ Psychokinesis


Warlock's skills are lightweight, with very powerful single control, single blast, and positioning abilities.

You can collect telekinesis element beads through preceding skills, and depending on the number of telekinesis element beads and the effect of the white prison

You can use the Termination skill to create more explosive damage.

After activating the explosion skill and forming a powerful magic circle on the ground,

In the magic circle, Warlock's single attack and positional movement ability are greatly enhanced!

Psychokinesis-type skills are more suitable for fighting alone, flexible, and very lethal.

There are many types of combos, so it is more suitable for adventurers who like to explore.

Global Server June 7 Update

To provide a better game experience, Ragnarok Origin Global will undergo server maintenance. During this period, you will not be able to log in to ROO. Please plan your gaming time accordingly.

Maintenance Period: 6/7 2:00 - 4:30 (GMT+7)


Sigil Tablet

The Tablet system will be unlocked for adventurers who have reached Base Lv.75.

a) How to Obtain:

Tablet-related materials can be obtained from various sources, such as RO Shop, Point Mall, Auction, Deviruchi's Secret Treasures, Gacha, and Juperos Ruins;

b) Sigil Insertion:

Adventurers can insert up to 3 Sigils simultaneously on a Tablet — 1 active Sigil, 1 Job-exclusive Sigil, and 1 passive Sigil. Sigil Shards can be used to upgrade Sigils, providing extra stats as well as empowering Sigil skills. Sigil presets are also available for adventurers to switch between different builds more conveniently.

C) Sigil Collection:

Collecting or upgrading Sigils will increase your Sigil collection, and upon reaching certain collection levels, you will be granted additional stats and bonus rewards. In addition, each Sigil has its own collection stats to be unlocked.

d) Tablet Repair:

After a Sigil is fully upgraded, spare Sigil Shards can be used to repair the Tablet. The repairing process is divided into cleaning, fortifying, polishing, and outlining. And when these aspects achieve certain progress, the Tablet set bonus will be activated to further enhance your character.


Juperos Ruins

Juperos Ruins will be unlocked for adventurers who have reached Base Lv.75. By clearing Juperos Ruins, adventures will be getting materials related to the Tablet system.

a) How to Play:

Each exploration into the Juperos Ruins lasts for 10 minutes, and it is advised to enter as a party of 5. Adventurers can claim up to 2 clearing rewards and 4 assist rewards per week. While in the Juperos Ruins, adventurers need to fight the Boss monsters until they pass out, and then deal as much damage as you can within the remaining time. The more damage you deal, the higher scores you get!

b) Ranking & Rewards:

After the challenge is over, you will be ranked based on your scores. Ranking rewards will be issued weekly.


Guild Quiz

A new guild activity, Guild Quiz, will be online to enrich your guild life.

a) How to Participate:

Guild Quiz takes place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 20:00 (GMT+7). Adventurers can get themselves registered for the quiz at Spica in the guild hall.

b) How to Play:

Each question is single-choice and gives you scores when answered correctly. Also, when you are puzzled, you can always seek help from your guild.

c) Ranking & Rewards:

When Guild Quiz ends, your ranking within the guild will be issued. The better your ranking is, the greater the rewards you will get!


Limited-Time Pets

For servers that have been open for 64-92 days, 3 new pets will be available to summon for a limited-time.

Come and draw new outfits with your Gacha Tickets!

The new fashions will include: School Uniform (Costume), School Umbrella (Backwear), Bunny Hat (Headwear), and Ice Cream (Facewear).

Each draw will get you 1 point, which can be used to redeem outfits.

Subject to the opening date of each server, Fashion Gacha resets every 14 days.

Sky City

a) Basic Info:

Sky City has a total of 100 floors. Each floor consists of multiple grids that hold all kinds of treasures.

When adventurers first enter a floor, they can select a reward as the grand prize of that floor. The higher you climb, the more grand prizes you can select and the better qualities they are!

b) Rules:

Adventures can consume items to dig treasures. Each time you dig, you get a reward. After getting the selected reward on a floor, you can choose to go on to the next floor or stay on the current floor to continue digging. There is a chance to receive a blessing every time you dig, which offers free digging opportunities!

c) Rewards:

Grand rewards include: Monsoon Commander (Costume), The Chosen One, Flawed Sigil Crystal, Precious Sigil Pack, Pet Shard: S, and more.

Enchanting

a) Multiple Enchanting:

Adventurers will now be able to conduct enchanting 10/20 times at once.

b) Enchantment Preset:

Each equipment slot will now have up to 5 presets, among which the enchanting level and progress are shared. Adventures can switch between these presets while in combat or in PvP instances with an 8-second cooldown.


Skip Function

To ease the burden of all adventurers and optimize your game experience, we have added a skip function for several modes!

a) Battle of Yggdrasil:

At server level 75 and above, adventurers who have reached Base Lv.75 will be able to skip and instantly gain the rewards as if they have completed 30 waves in Battle of Yggdrasil.

b) Hordor Dreamland:

At server level 75 and above, adventurers who have reached Base Lv.75 and cleared a Hordor Dreamland themed park on its highest difficulty will be able to skip that themed park.

c) Helheim Dungeons:

At server level 95 and above, adventurers who have reached Base Lv.95 will be able to skip Helheim dungeons.
