In Ragnarok Origin, a character's abilities and skills are defined by their class (also known as job). Characters start out as Novices, then once they reach Job Level 10 they can choose between a variety of first job classes. 

After attaining Base Level 40 and Job Level 40 (or higher) they can then change to a second class job, either 2-1 or 2-2.

Once the character has reached Base Level 70 and Job Level 40 as a second class, they can choose to transcend and start the process again, being rewarded with a more powerful, transcendent character.

Alternatively, from Novice, players can choose to become the Super Novice, or one of the Expanded classes like Gunslinger, Ninja, or Taekwon.

Merchant Blacksmith	Merchant who plays the role of attacker and buff ・High Damage using Cart and Axe Skills ・Can craft Weapon Converters ・Can provide helpful buffs
Merchant Alchemist	Damage Dealer & supporters fighting with causatives and medicine bottles ・You can summon a Homunculus. ・High Damage dealer when throwing acid bottle ・By destroying the target's equipment, you can interfere and support the Party.

Archer Hunter	Physical long-distance and stable occupation ・Long-distance damage dealer & falcon ・Traps can be set ・Field hunting performance is high
