Sages are a PvP-oriented class with the role of caster/anti-Mage. They do not have that many High Damaging AoE skills like a Wizard, but they are a buffed version of Mage with their Free Casting.
Sages shine in their defensive abilities, with many builds centered around Earth Field.

The Sage
Sages are the second alternate class update for the Mage class. This class focuses on increasing the damage of their elemental bolts by kiting enemies using the free-casting passive skill.
The Builds
For the early level, we have Elemental Bolter and Neutral Bolter Builds. They will use the same Stats settings, INT and DEX. INT to increase our Magic Attack, Magic Damage, and SP regen. DEX, on the other hand, reduces cast time reduction.
Elemental Bolter
For this build, we will focus on using the Elemental bolts (Fire, Wind, Water) and proc double and triple casting using Verus core.
Neutral Bolter
This build highlights the Void Skill that deals neutral physical damage instead of Elemental bolts. The skill damage increases the more SP that you have.

Note: You will either use Firebolt or Fireball for grinding early game, so equipment that increases your MATK, MDMG, and Fire element DMG increase is a must.

Notable Sage Skills:
Double Cast - Allow Sages to double the elemental bolts they cast.
Spider Web - Root the target and double the Fire damage they take.
Free Spellcasting - Allow Sages to move while casting skills.
Drain Magic - Increases Max SP, which is really good for the Neutral Build
Elemental Domains - Cast ground skills that enhance elemental skills damage.
Elemental Bonus - Sages can craft Elemental Scrolls that they can sell to other adventurers.
Elemental Bolter
Max out all Elemental Bolts skills from the Mage class. For the Sage Class, allocate points to Double Cast, Dragonology, Book of Evolution, Magic Punishment, Spider Web, and Drain Magic. Then allocate the rest of the points to any skill that you need.
Neutral Bolter
For the Mage class, max out Increase SP recovery. Then allocate the rest of the points to any skill that you need. For the Sage class, Max out Void Bolt, Book of Evolution, Dragonology, Magic Punishment, and Drain Magic. Then allocate the rest of the points to any skill that you need.
Level Recommendation:
From Base Level 50 to Level 80 - You can target monsters that have elemental weaknesses or monsters that have the cards that you need.
The Professor
Once you reach Base Level and Job Level 70, you can transcend your class to Professor.
Professor Skills
Notable Stalker Skills
Auto Cast and Chant Mastery - Using these skills allows Professors to autocast elemental bolts when doing normal attacks creating a brand-new build, Autocaster.
Psychic Wave - This is the new AoE skill available for the Professor which deals neutral magic damage per second to all targets nearby.
Earth Field - This support skill prevents other players from casting any ground targeting skills within the Earth Field Area.
Weaken Mind - The Professor drains the target's SP and deals damage.

Dispel - This skill removes all the target's active buffs.
Spell breaker. This skill interrupts the target's casting time and extends the casting time by up to 40%
Professor Builds
Bolter Professor
We have bolter Professor. This build focuses on casting double-casting elemental bolts and can now deal more damage with the new Professor Passive skills.
Autobolter Professor
Next, we have auto bolter Professor. This build highlights the auto spell skill that allows professors to have a chance of casting elemental bolts when dealing with normal attacks.
Psychic Wave Professor
Next, we have Psychic Wave Professor. This build highlights the Psychic wave skill that deals AoE neutral magic damage per second for up to 10 monsters nearby.
Full Support Professor
and lastly, we have a Full Support Professor. This build focuses on casting Dispel, spell breaker and Earth field to interrupt enemies, stop ground targeting skills, and cast elemental domains to help increase allies' damage.
Advance Equipment Recommendation and Builds
Once you reach Base level 80 or above, new Book effects are available at your disposal.
For the Armor - You can go either Sprint Set, Goibne's Set, or Magic Master Set depending on your build.
For the Cards
Weapon: We can use cards that increase damage to the target's Size, Race, or Element. We can also use cards that add MATK.
Armor: You can use Desert Wolf Baby Card or a Card that increases HP, or Element Resistance
