Ragnarok Origin Nightmare Temple Season 5 Update

The Strong Fear Nothing: Challenging the World-Ending Temple

I. Nightmare Temple S5 Season Opens

1. New Season Debuts The strong fear nothing! Enter the unknown temple to confront powerful monsters. Nightmare Temple Season 5: Time Reversal is now open! Team up to challenge it and obtain stronger equipment!

The new season, "Time Reversal," features new bosses: Ifrit, Baron Dracula, Dark Priest, Pharaoh, and Three-Headed Dragon, awaiting adventurers' challenges! By challenging the new Time Reversal season, you'll earn Divine Realm Armaments for the new season. Reward clear counts remain the same as previous seasons and are calculated independently across different seasons.

Please note the different opening conditions for each season:

  • Season 5 requires servers to be Level 125, and adventurers' Base Level must be 90 to open.

  • After Season 5 opens, adventurers can still challenge previous seasons to cultivate previous season's Divine Realm Armaments or obtain rare mounts. Previous seasons will also offer sweep functionality: once you've cleared a designated stage, you can sweep all cleared stages.

  • Permanent attributes from previous seasons remain active, while corresponding season attributes are only effective within their respective Nightmare Temple seasons.

  • Nightmare Temple assist rewards are shared across different seasons, with 5 challenge attempts per week.

  • Hell difficulty is too dangerous and will be available in a future update.

2. New Season Divine Realm Armaments Debut

Break through limits with the new season's Divine Realm Armaments! In the "Time Reversal" themed season, you can obtain the [Time-Cinders Series Divine Realm Armaments].

Time-Ash Series Divine Realm Armaments can be equipped at Level 90 and can apply the build effects of all Level 90 general equipment.

In addition to the equipment's own attributes, each different season has a Season Core, which includes Permanent Attributes and Season Attributes.

  • Permanent Attributes are fixed stats that are always active across all seasons.

  • Season Attributes for each season are 10 times more effective within their corresponding Nightmare Temple season.

  • The current season's Season Attributes are also 1x effective in other scenarios.

  • Each season's core can be enhanced using Divine Realm Armament Blueprints and equipment dismantling items from that season.

  • All Season Attributes will no longer be effective outside of the Nightmare Temple after their corresponding season ends.

Furthermore, Divine Realm Armaments from different seasons have unique appearances. Adventurers can freely choose and apply any Divine Realm Armament appearance they own.

3. Divine Realm Fund

To help adventurers challenge the temple more smoothly, a new Divine Realm Fund is available. After purchasing the Divine Realm Fund, clear designated stages in Nightmare Temple S5 Season to claim valuable rewards like Meow Meow Fruits and Flowing Light via [Main Interface] - [Rewards] - [Growth Fund]!

II. Loki Cup Qualifiers

[Qualifier Schedule] Starting August 6th, every Wednesday, one match per week, from 20:55 to 21:20.

  • Guild League is expected to reopen on August 5th. This server's league will start the week of August 5th, and cross-server league will open the week of August 12th.

  • Guild League Auction will also open. Adventurers, please prepare for the upcoming Guild League! This time, let's fight together for the glory of our guild!

[Qualifier Notes] Rank Reset: Upon entering the qualifier phase, division points will be reset based on the guild's overall strength. The reset deadline is August 4th, 00:00:00. Adventurers who join their desired guild before this time will have their Adventure Value counted. The higher the overall strength, the greater the advantage in the schedule.

At the end of the qualifiers, guild members will be locked simultaneously. Guilds and guild members cannot change character nicknames, guilds cannot merge or disband, and members cannot leave. New members joining after the qualifiers cannot participate in subsequent knockout rounds.

Ranking Rules:

  • Sorted by Division Points > Adventure Value (total Adventure Value of top 10 members).

  • Rankings for each battle zone are independent.

  • The leaderboard updates after each weekly match or in special circumstances.

  • Special Circumstances: Rankings will also update when a ranked guild merges or disbands. The new guild's division points after merging will be equal to the highest score among the 2 or more guilds before merging. However, Adventure Value (total Adventure Value of top 10 members within the guild) only updates after each match.

Qualifier Battle Zone Grouping and Promotion Rules:

  • Peak Zone: Charles CHAOS-1, Loki LOKI-1, Lydia LIDIA-1, Sakray SAKRAY-1, Sara SARA-1. A total of 62 guilds will advance.

  • Brave Zone: Sakura Bride. A total of 2 guilds will advance.

  • Servers with no promotion slots: Thor THOR.

Promotion Rules: After the qualifiers, guilds will be ranked based on their total division points. The top 62 in the Peak Zone and the top 2 in the Brave Zone will qualify for registration!

Tie-breaking Rule: If division points are equal, the guild with the higher Adventure Value (total Adventure Value of the top 10 members within the guild) will rank higher.

  • Adventurers, please pay attention to subsequent official announcements and in-game mail regarding the end of the Loki Cup Qualifiers and the final roster lock time.

  • If adventurers encounter any strange issues during the competition, please contact customer service immediately or inform us through other channels. The event committee is always on standby, and ensuring the enjoyment of the competition is the top priority! If adventurers have any suggestions for the competition's gameplay, please also inform us through customer service or community messages. Every suggestion from adventurers is an important reference for us to optimize the event experience, and we will seriously evaluate and strive to implement them.

IV. Listening and Improving Column

1. Kingdom Conquest Gameplay Optimization

  • Added City Protection Mechanism:

    • When a guild is in a Kingdom Conquest group and does not occupy any cities, they will receive one protected city at the weekly settlement.

    • Protected cities are virtual cities, different from those on the Kingdom Conquest map, and will not appear on the map. They do not affect a guild's normal occupation of Tier 1 cities on the Kingdom Conquest map.

    • Guilds with protected cities will receive guild dungeon rewards.

    • Guilds that have already occupied cities will receive corresponding rewards based on their "actual occupied city count and level" according to the original rules.

  • Matching Mechanism Optimization:

    • The optimized matching mechanism increases the probability of guilds with similar strength being matched together, giving adventurers more opportunities to battle enemies of comparable strength.

  • Season Gameplay Adjustments:

    • Season duration adjusted from 4 weeks to 1 week.

    • Added a weekly bounty completion limit for a single guild, capped at 15 times. After reaching the limit, bounty chests will not refresh next to the Glorious Crystal even if bounty conditions are met.

    • Increased bounty rewards for high-level cities.

  • Achievement Task Adjustments:

    • Achievement task [Accumulate 100 kills and revives in Kingdom Conquest gameplay] adjusted to [Accumulate 100 kills/assists/revives in Kingdom Conquest gameplay].

*Starting the week of August 11th, the original server-specific GVG Siege War will be permanently closed. At that time, adventurers will uniformly participate in the more intense and exciting cross-server GVG event: [Kingdom Conquest]. Afraid of not getting rewards due to intense competition? Don't worry! [Kingdom Conquest] adds a protected city mechanism: even if a guild doesn't successfully occupy any cities, they will still receive one protected city as a reward. Please prepare for battle with confidence; the glory of the kingdom awaits your protection!
